Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is an advisory group that advocates for 50/50 Bookstore.
50/50 Board members serve a one year term and provides oversight , governance, and financial management to the organization .
There are seven (7) open positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Board Members
All members are required to serve a one-year term (April 2019 - April 2020).
Board meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each quarter at 7 pm at 50/50 Bookstore.
Committee meetings are TBA
Desired Qualifications or Interests
Background in Finance, Marketing, Education, Administration, or Management
Believe in the importance of literacy
Willing to be an active advocate for the work we do
Requirements and Duties
Attend quarterly meetings
Attend committee meetings and activities scheduled by the respective committee chairs
May be required to attend other meetings or volunteer at special events to promote work of 50/50
Serve on one or more of the following committees: Bookstore, Marketing, Finance, Nominations, and Community Events
