Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is an advisory group that advocates for 50/50 Bookstore.

50/50 Board members serve a one year term and provides oversight
, governance, and financial management to the organization


  • There are seven (7) open positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Board Members

  • All members are required to serve a one-year term (April 2019 - April 2020).

  • Board meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each quarter at 7 pm at 50/50 Bookstore.

  • Committee meetings are TBA

Desired Qualifications or Interests

  • Background in Finance, Marketing, Education, Administration, or Management

  • Believe in the importance of literacy

  • Willing to be an active advocate for the work we do

Requirements and Duties

  • Colorado resident

  • Attend quarterly meetings

  • Attend committee meetings and activities scheduled by the respective committee chairs

  • May be required to attend other meetings or volunteer at special events to promote work of 50/50

  • Serve on one or more of the following committees: Bookstore, Marketing, Finance, Nominations, and Community Events
